Best Jobs for Fitness Fanatics

While most people train in the gym for personal reasons - confidence, health, etc. - there's also a chance to profit on your hard work if you are interested.

There are many jobs that require a physical portion on top of a knowledge component, which automatically rules out a lot of competition.

1. Personal Trainer

I haven't met anyone who is really into fitness who doesn't love training other people. It feels good changing other people's lives one rep at a time. On top of that, you can either work for a gym or open up your own, which provides you with good flexibility. The biggest downside are the hours, especially when you're starting. Get used to having to bring in clients or sell your services to them, and train clients at weird hours.

2. Security Guard

Like any job, focus on getting your basic training done before applying. Highlight it on your resume as well as any other experience you have as a security guard or a similar position. Having a great security guard resume will help you find a job 3 times faster than with an average resume (source: www.rawresume.com/security/how-to-create-a-great-security-guard-resume/)

3. Bouncer

If you are one of the few who are not only really fit (read: big) and know how to use your size appropriately, you are in high demand. Finding a bouncer who only uses force when necessary and is also intimidating enough to ward off threats is rare. Bouncers are compensated with good pay, and you will meet a lot of people in the local bar scene. However, there is significant danger associated with being a bouncer in most cities, which is something you might not feel comfortable.

4. Fitness Model

Not everyone can be a model, but if you have a great physique you might be able to be a fitness model. Magazines are always looking for cut people to fill out their editions with. Be warned though, a fitness model has to stay in shape year round, it can add a lot of pressure to your workouts.

Modern Science in Action: Creatine Nitrate for Strength Gains

The latest creatine nitrate studies have been lighting up the fitness world. They have shown that nitrate can dissolve in water several times as well, which means that creatine nitrate products will be much more efficiently absorbed by the body. Creatine can only be absorbed in the aqueous phase once mixed with water, which is an area that typical monohydrate supplements struggle with.

Some bloggers still raise some valid points about this new type of supplement:

  1. This study shows that the results are better outside the body, technically tests need to be done with real people
  2. More studies need to be done anyways to confirm the results

So What Does this Mean?

For a fitness enthusiast looking for practical supplement use improvements, creatine nitrate is worth a try. You can try using a much smaller amount than you are used to with your current monohydrate supplements because it should be used by your muscles much more efficiently. So even though you'll pay more up front for the product, you'll use it much slower and may save money in the long run.

The most important thing to remember is that although creatine and other supplements can improve your performance in the gym, they should be treated as bonuses and not relied on. Most of your improvement should come from consistent hard work, with supplements providing icing on the cake.
